For as long as I can remember I have always needed to know how things
work and why that is.
Computer Science seemed like the natural direction for such a
disposition; a field with a seemingly infinite number of questions and
an ever larger array of answers.
I started programming as a teenager, following a "once hated, now
loved" Java textbook I found in a charity shop, and since then have
been fortunate enough to further my studies at university.
These days I am a full-stack web developer by trade, with a special
interest in DevOps (anything to automate myself out of a job). I take
great pride in simplicity; focusing on creating software that is
resilient, efficient, and easy-to-use.
When I am not writing code, I can be found reading Sci-Fi, picking
locks, or playing video games.
